SALON BRUIT:
Salon Bruit is an ongoing platform mainly for sound experiments. Check the site for details of the regular events. Occasionally Salon Bruit organize festivals, like Lost Shadows and more recently Verwertung, or are involved in other art events like the SoToDo Performance Congress or different Free Radio Projects (listed below) in Berlin, NoiseNoD in Prag, Czech Republic and iD Projekt in Gorzow and Szezcin as well as the Msie Tupo Doba Festiwal, Tuczno, Poland being the last bigger projects that Salon Bruit were involved in outside of Germany.

LOCAL RADIO
88Vier is on air since May 2010. It's a small (as in really small transmitter) experiment initiated by the institute that controls the FM frequencies in Berlin, MABB. After many years of short term radio projects and events frequencies it would seem that they have seen the sense in having some mutated form of Free Radio in Berlin. This is not it, yet. But it could be something working in that direction.
For the first year Salon Bruit have had a regular live show with the good people of Pi-Radio. Now from May 2011 on Salon Bruit work together with Bootlab and C-Base on the radio project, CoLaBoRaDio, that will have up to 30 hours a week on the local frequency.

Past projects supporting the idea of Free Radio have been Ersatzradio, RadioRiff, Reboot.FM, Mikro.FM, Dazwischenfunken in Potsdam, Funkwelle, Herbstradio, Radio Einheit and Pi-Radio.
